It only takes an afternoon to see how Hawaii is very different from the rest of the USA. Hawaiians are proud of their Islands and as you get away from Honolulu, you may find that there is a certain charm and respite in exploring the less developed side of Hawaii. Hawaiians are kind and helpful, and they won’t leave you in despair, but they also are very protective of the Hawaiian way of life, their heritage, and are cautious of letting it be overrun by tourism. That’s where we come in!
